Behaviour and rewards
Our expectations of you as our students is that you will be excellent ambassadors of yourselves, who learn from your mistakes and
- know and abide by our key behaviour rules
- learn how to develop positive learning behaviours
- live and breathe The Clapham Commitment
- are happy, feel safe and develop into the best version of yourselves you can possibly be.
You will know from the discussions we have had with you in the academy, that our behaviour expectations are really clear and simple: that you will be prepared, that you will be exemplary and that you will be respectful:
The 3 rules |
For me as a student: |
Be prepared - ready to learn. |
|
Be exemplary in the way I present myself - manners, pride and kindness |
|
Be respectful – to others, to the environment and to myself |
|
You will also know that we will always aim to support before we sanction and that rewards play a major role in the academy. These include:
- Tweets/texts home
- Phone calls home
- Letters home
- Shout outs in assembly
- Clapham Credit notes
- Clapham Crystals* (exceptional evidence of going above and beyond)
- Invitation to rewards breakfast/evening
