Emily May

Teaching English at Harris Academy Clapham means days filled with creativity, passionate discussions and talking about my favourite thing – books! It is a true joy to watch students develop their voice and broaden their world view as they move through the English curriculum. 

When I'm not in the classroom, you'll find me touring our vast Enrichment programme (from NFL to cooking!). I am particularly fond of our champion debate team (although as the DebateMate lead, I’m admittedly biased!). Students at Harris Academy Clapham know that who they are expands far beyond their academic success, and seeing them shine in all aspects of school is a privilege.
