Free School Meals - how to apply
Your child may be entitled to free school meals. Even if you do not think your child may be entitled to free school meals, we recommend that you check anyway using our online Free School Meals application form, which explains the eligibility requirements. The meal value is £2.84.
Students who are eligible for free school meals will have their account credited each day which they can spend at breaktime and lunchtime, but not at breakfast (see details of our free Breakfast Club below). The amount that is credited to their account each day must be used before the end of each day. If students wish to purchase additional items from the kitchen after they have spent their daily allowance, their ParentPay account must be topped up by their parent or guardian.
Breakfast Club - free breakfast for all students
Our Breakfast Club is available every morning from 8am until 8.20am. The Breakfast Club provides free breakfast to all students who would like it. The Breakfast Club serves cereal and milk, cereal bars and fruit including bananas, apples and tangerines.

If a student has any food allergies or intolerances, parents and guardians must inform the academy’s Medical Lead using info@harrisclapham.org.uk. Food allergen information is labelled in BOLD on all pre-packaged food. Allergen information on all other food products is available from the kitchen’s Allergy Buddy and the allergen information booklet which is available on request from the kitchen.
