Community Involvement

We are rooted in our local communities of Brixton, Clapham and Streatham. We work closely with a range of local partners – coming together to help strengthen our community for everyone. Below are just three examples.

Felix Project

Harris Academy Clapham works with The Felix Project, which donate meals that we give to our students to take home for them and their families ahead of each school holiday. Our partnership with the Felix Project helps our families plan for busier and often more expensive weeks by making it easier to have convenient, nutritious meals available at home. It can reduce last‑minute pressure, support routines during breaks, and ensure students come back feeling ready to settle into learning.

MCKS Charity

Harris Academy Clapham is proud to work in partnership with the MCKS charity, which supports our community by delivering a weekly supply of breakfast items (including cereal, milk, fruit and juice) to the academy. We make these freely available every day for all students to collect, helping to ensure that no young person starts lessons hungry. This makes a real difference to students’ wellbeing and readiness to learn – improving focus, energy and concentration in the classroom, while also promoting equity by removing barriers for families who may be facing financial pressures.

Jamaica Relief

Following Hurrucane Melissa in Jamaica in October 2025, our school collected a range of supplies of much-needed items to support the relief project.
