Our Uniform

At Harris Academy Clapham we value the importance of appearance and first impressions. Students are expected to be exemplary in their appearance.

This expectation applies to whenever they are inside the academy grounds, including their journey to and from the academy each day.

Students are representatives of our academy community, therefore high expectations and standards are always requested. By requiring students to wear the Academy uniform, we boost inclusivity and belonging. Our Uniform Policy can be downloaded from the bottom of this page.

The academy uniform has been carefully considered to take into account the cost to families. Only our blazer, tie and PE top are branded with our logo and/or colours, and are mandatory.

From September students will be in one of three faculties:

• Ambition (red tie)
• Resilience (green tie)
• Empathy (blue tie)

Branded items must be purchased from School Uniform Direct or obtained second hand (see below). Other uniform items can be purchased from any supplier.

All other previously branded items (such as our jumper) will become optional, and pupils may instead wear suitable plain alternatives where they choose to do so.

Second hand uniform

We are a new academy meaning our second hand uniform stock is very limited. If you have any second hand uniform you would like to donate, please drop it into reception. If you require second hand uniform or support with the purchase of uniform, please contact us on info@harrisclapham.org.uk.
