Using ParentPay

The academy uses a cashless system for the purchase of items from the academy’s kitchen and other goods and services. Click HERE for a step-by-step guide to parents on how to activate the ParentPay account.

ParentPayFor any questions or support with ParentPay, please contact finance@harrisclapham.org.uk.

Students use a fingerprint recognition for their ParentPay payments. This is designed to help make our students take responsibility for their own data security and will help them to get used to the way things work in the 'outside world'. Fingerprints are stored securely and deleted when students leave the academy.

Parent Pay refunds. All refund requests, including the year leavers, should be sent to Info@harrisclapham.org.uk to ensure prompt processing. Innovate IFG will not be liable to pay refunds older than two years. These balances will be refunded back to the account from which the original top-up was made. In the event of that account being closed, or the top-up is too old, BACS payment will be arranged to the parent’s account.

Purchases from the kitchen

Students can purchase items from the academy’s kitchen using their fingerprint, linked to their ParentPay account. Students, parents and guardians who choose not to have their child’s fingerprint registered with ParentPay can give their name to the kitchen staff to pay for their meal.

Students NOT receiving free school meals. If your child/ward is not receiving free school meals, you will need to top up the child’s account online using the ParentPay website. You will need to top up the account if you would like your child to be able to purchase meals, drinks and snacks from the academy’s kitchen.

Students receiving free school meals. If your child/ward is receiving free school meals, you will need to top up their account online using the ParentPay website if you would like your child to be able to purchase meals, drinks and snacks from the academy’s kitchen after they have spent their daily allowance. Students’ daily allowance can only be spent at breaktime and lunchtime. Students who are receiving free school meals will not be able to purchase items at breakfast unless their parent or guardian has added money to their ParentPay account.

The ParentPay system can also be used by parents and guardians to monitor what their child has been purchasing and how much they have spent. There is a daily spend limit applied to all students of £6.

Purchasing other goods and services

Payment for any goods or services purchased by students, parents and guardians is collected using the ParentPay system. This includes payments for concerts, trips, music lessons and resources such as revision guides and mathematics equipment such as calculators and geometry sets.
