Parent Voice - Have Your Say

Hacl51 food and teacher

Get involved with Parent Voice and have your say! Would you like to help shape the future of Harris Academy Clapham and be part of a supportive parent community?

Contribute to our HACL Parent Voice and give your constructive feedback and ideas on how we can further shape the education for your child and their peers.

What makes Parent Voice special?

Parent voice is a vital part of our academy community. We truly value the thoughts and perspectives of the parents/carers associated with the academy.

  • We hear you and want your ideas.
  • Senior staff regularly review the feedback, providing updates and answers to your questions where applicable.
  • Discussions focus on whole-school topics (not individual students or staff), making it relevant to everyone.
  • Creating a positive, constructive relationship with our parent/carer community.

If that sounds like something you’d enjoy, we’d love to hear from you! Contact us at: parentvoice@harrisclapham.org.uk

Just a reminder – this is a general forum for school-wide issues, not individual cases or personal matters. Work with us to make HACL a transformational education provider.

Why your feedback matters

Your feedback helps us to understand what is working well and where we can continue to grow – with student outcomes, growth and development being at the heart of all decisions.

We encourage your to share your thoughts openly and constructively, so that we can work together to further shape the education at Harris Academy Clapham.

How to get in touch

There are two ways you can communicate with us:

  • Parent voice (Parentvoice@harrisclapham.org.uk). Please email to get involved or express how you feel we can further grow and support your child.
  • Acknowledgement and recognition (Thankyou@harrisclapham.org.uk). Please get in touch to celebrate the practice of colleagues. Write in to us if you would like to 'shout out' a member of staff for how they have approached, dealt with and/or supported your child.

Don't forget you can also contact your child's Form Tutor, who can be your first point of contact with the school. See our Keeping in Touch with Parents page.

Parent surveys

Each year we also survey all parents to ask for your views on how your child is getting on at school – whether they feel safe, are making good progress and about how well parents feel informed.
