Student Leadership - How It Works
Our Student Leadership Team is open to any students from years 7-11, with students completing an application form, and taking part in a vetting process.
Details of the next elections will be added here once they are announced. Students commit to a programme of training and development, sign a contract and work closely with the senior leadership team to develop the school in a number of ways.

Making a difference
Our student leadership team has worked across a number of areas recently including, physical and mental health, teaching and learning, rewards and sustainability. Our main strategic focus this year is Teaching & Learning and the Charity Challenge, aiming to raise £5,000 before the end of the year.
Our aims for this year
This year, our Student Leadership Team is taking on a series of ambitious challenges designed to strengthen our school community and ensure every student feels represented, supported and inspired. Their priorities include raising the profile of student voice across the school, leading initiatives that promote our core values, and working with staff to improve the day‑to‑day experience of all students.
They are also focused on developing inclusive projects that support wellbeing and belonging, driving forward community and charity events, and championing positive behaviour and high aspirations across every year group. Through these challenges, our young leaders are helping to shape a school culture where every student can thrive and contribute.
