Intermediate Maths Challenge Success
We wanted to share our pupils' fantastic successes in the Intermediate Maths Challenge which took place last week.
This is where Year 9, Year 10, and Year 11 pupils all compete in an equal competition with some hard, lateral thinking, problem solving style questions. It's particularly impressive for our Year 9 students to be competing against Year 10s and Y11s across the country.
We have had our best ever performance as an Academy, with our best previously only getting a couple of bronze certificates.
Additionally, we have some students who have made it through to the prestigious Kangaroo competitions! These are saved for those pupils with the highest scores in the first round - so very much looking forward to taking them through to that.

Congratulations to...
