Good morning HACL family as a parent I want everyone to know how clean the school is in terms of prevention of COVID19 I feel at ease with my son going to school and coming home each day free from the worry of catching COVID this school is a 5* clean school 💯

So brilliant to have our students back in the academy with us!

Mabel has enjoyed checking in on our critical worker children and visiting some of those who are not able to be in! She joins us all in wishing our staff and students a restful, screen-free half term!

Very proud of our week 2 and week 3 Clapham bake-off winners!

You would be very welcome!

Two of our favourite emails of the week - a student checking in about the welfare of her teachers and a parent praising us for what we are doing. Both very much appreciated!

Wanted posters in Spanish and annotated skeletons in PE! Fabulous creativity!

Our enrichment bake-off challenge had a very colourful start! Well done to all our participants!

One of our key values is for our students to have a global view. Part of this is for them to understand their place in the world. Fantastic work on 'Globalisation and me' to aid this.

Just because it's lockdown, doesn't mean enrichment stops!

Excellent work and exemplary self-regulation in our online Chinese lessons!

Such lovely messages of support from our parents! A few extracts: 'Thank you for the hard work all the staff are doing each and every day for the students. It doesn't go unnoticed.' 'We are truly appreciative of the staff for all your hard work in keeping things running.'

I would like to praise ( ) for their fantastic leadership & teaching as well as the outstanding home learning provision during this pandemic. Very grateful to the school for their hard work in almost impossible conditions - THANK YOU!

A huge well done to our students! Your teachers are so proud of you. Your level of engagement in your lessons and the quality of your work is simply fabulous! To our parent body - your messages of support, thanks and kindness are very much appreciated! What an academy family!

And last but by no means least, a donation of another three crates of food to the Clapham food bank. Thank you parents, students and staff!

Lots of yoga and PE too!
