Clubs, enrichment and wellbeing activities for week beginning 25 January 2021
As we have many of you remote learning and some students in school during the pandemic, we have put together a range of things that you can try. You can find these below and we will update the events weekly.
This is in addition to the Monday and Wednesday enrichment sessions being run by your teachers - you will find out more about these in tutor time each Friday!
Culture:
You can virtually walk through the Musée d’Orsay, Paris by following this link. The popular gallery houses dozens of famous works from French artists, including Monet, Cézanne and Gauguin.

Knowledge
You can virtually tour the Science Museum by following this link. In the Science Museum you can view over 325,000 objects and archives from all their collections. Including the SOKOL space suit, as worn by Helen Sharman during the Juno mission to the Mir space station in 1991.

Health
How many steps are you taking a day? Set yourself a weekly target and try to beat it!
We have our very own online PE teacher in Mr Headley, but if you want to try and do even more sport there are countless opportunities online. Follow the link and complete an extra workout each week.
Opportunity
Try something new that you have wanted to do but put off. Write a story, compose a song, create your own workout, create a piece of art, try your hand at baking, develop your own game and of course, help to keep the house tidy.
Here is a challenge for you:
‘Why not try and become a master of disguise with the help of a former CIA operative. Can you alter your appearance so your friends can’t tell it’s you?’ https://secretldn.com/video-spies-disguises-cia-chief/
and please remember:
